A zine design from my Bachelor's Thesis: Feminist Art & Design, Visual Communication Through Decades of Activism. That Girl is a zine concept focusing on celebrity women and their activist efforts. Inspired by riot grrrl zines of the 80s and 90s, That Girl is a break from the constant speculation and sexist criticism of women in tabloids and online media.
London Creative Journal: Written about my experience in London as a design student. The trip focused on the history of art and design in London and how British trends travel to the U.S. Accompanied by traditional sightseeing, the trip was a vacation and academic experience in one. The journal showcases some of my photographs in high contrast black and white with bold and colorful typography to represent the historical and contemporary attitudes of London.
